Project Overview

This is an artistic and educational project, aiming to explore the mood, thinking and behaviour of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder through movement, film and spoken word. The live performance should aim to portray an abstract expression piece involving release movement with the influence of gestural movement such as hand washing. Whilst the dance film aims to demonstrate pedestrian- like movement to represent the everyday activities a person would carry out daily with the indication that they are also living with OCD. The dance film should involve a lot of props as well as spoken work. The spoken word aims to encourage the idea of the thoughts of someone living with OCD.
